I've always wanted to write beautifully. I want the words to fly off the page and into peoples hearts. But I'm no writer, and I never will be.
Maybe if I take beautiful pictures the words won't matter as much. Because a picture's worth 1000 words, and if the picture is beautiful, I'm sure the words are too.

I found this stick a little while ago and soon realised that underneath the bark there were all these little lines and tunnels from worms that had lived in it. I thought the patterns kind of looked like hieroglyphics.

It's like the worms are trying to tell us a story.

I made some muffins.
They taste like sunshine.

Now that I'm off school I've realised just how much I missed being outdoors, with the trees, going on adventures. Despite the fact that I love learning, I don't think I would ever be happy in a 9-5 job. I need to be stimulated by the world around me, I need to be outside in the fresh air.

I also think it would be much harder to change the world from inside an office as opposed to outside, where life takes place.

If you trace the freckles on my arm you end up with a kite.

I think it's a sign that I was born to be free.

Through out my whole life I've most likely seen hundreds of bugs wandering around my house. Those bugs were simply performing their day to day tasks, living their lives, until my home got in the way, and they died trying to get out. It really breaks my heart that these creatures no longer breathe because of me. I decided that from now on I'm going to save every single bug I see trapped in my house. So far I've saved 14.

I wonder if the world would be different if my house hadn't destroyed the lives of so many bugs.

Destroying our planet with 9 gallons of sludge per second spilling into the oceans. I really hope that everyone understands the amount of damage the leaking oil ridge is doing.
